Versuni, Amsterdam, October 16, 2024 – Versuni, a leading home appliance company, announces that Berend van Wel has been appointed Regional President of Europe & Americas, reporting to Véronique Pauwels, President & CEO, Versuni, effective November 1, 2024.
Mr. van Wel started his professional career at McKinsey after which he moved into retail, as Commercial Director at Maxeda. He is joining Versuni from FrieslandCampina, where he was acting President Director for FrieslandCampina in Indonesia, overseeing their Indonesia market and operations. Prior to Indonesia, he held multiple roles in various locations as Managing Director of the Vietnam market, Global Transformation Director and Global Procurement Director.
Mr. van Wel has a strong track record of driving growth and transformation, unlocking new avenues of growth through driving fundamental changes in route-to-market, portfolio and building the necessary capabilities for sustainable success.
